Okay I've eaten here three times this year and plan to keep going back! You really can't beat this deal. All you can eat sushi, hibachi, appetizers for about $15 during lunch and less than $25 for dinner. They have a solid variety of options to choose from. The inside of the restaurant is pretty basic, not a lot of decor, but ample seating. Each time I went there was about a 20-30 min wait, but I don't think I've ever waited the full time. The service was great each time, with servers consistently explaining the AYCE process and frequently checking on the table. The food was quick to come out and I appreciate that they bring it as it's ready and don't make everyone wait until it's all ready at the same time. The black pepper tuna is one of my favorites. The yellowtail appetizer with jalapeño is absolutely delicious. I tried two of the sake flavors, the peach and strawberry, and both were pretty sweet. I tend to like it a little less sweet but they were both good! The most recent visit, I tried the matcha mochi. I don't think I'm a fan of mochi in general, but that wasn't a reflection on the restaurant. I highly recommend Mr. Tokyo to anyone looking for a cheap, quick option for lunch or dinner.

We came to Mr. Tokyo for lunch. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was not disappointed. We ordered a ton of food and everything was delicious. The fried rice and hibachi was great and my favorite sushi roll was the Hanami Roll. The service was quick and the environment and decor was nice and up to date. I'll definitely be back. Great food for the price.

SO happy that there's a Mr. Tokyo in Greensboro! Mr. Tokyo is an all you can eat sushi AND hibachi restaurant as they have other locations in Charlotte (where it 1st started) and Chapel Hill. I highly recommend to go during their lunch hours since it's only $15 per person (such a great deal!) and for dinner it's $24 per person. You also get to choose a vide variety of their appetizers such as edamame, fried gyoza, chicken katsu, miso soup, etc. My absolute favorite appetizer is their age tofu - yum! Usually 3 rounds fill me up. I always do 1 round with hibachi w/ NO rice since I don't want to get too full and also want to get most of the AYCE deal, lol. So far I haven't been disappointed of their hibachi. The veggies are nicely charred and I like to choose steak and is yummy. My sushi order is basic: just a good spicy tuna/salmon roll, salmon or tuna roll, and sometimes on the Chef Special rolls I get the Charlotte or Tiger roll. Fair warning that if you cannot finish anything on your plate you'll be charged, so be mindful on that!

Been here many times for sushi. The first few times, we ordered too much. After many times of coming here, we finally know what to order The sushi is good for the value. I just dislike sushi with tempura in it and the vegetable tempura is way too oily! Love their Salmon Lover and Squid Salad!

I love going to Mr Tokyos whether it's solo or with a group. The service has been great each time. There's usually not a wait when I go, but if there is - the longest is usually 15 minutes. Granted, I've only gone during their weekday lunch hours, which ... $15 for all you can eat hibachi and sushi?! A total steal. Only catch... whatever you don't finish, you have to pay extra for - which I think is great for preventing food waste and extra food cost. I also love that they have an option to order a la carte for anyone that doesn't want to do AYCE. The ambiance is great - very spacious with lots of seatings, but also blocked off enough to give you a sense of privacy. My favorite rolls have been the Angel Hair and Crazy Roll. Their teriyaki chicken, shrimp or steak have all been cooked perfectly and seasoned deliciously. Highly recommend eating here.

For someone who really likes sushi but can't order more than 1-2 rolls as they're very expensive, this was a great experience. We went during a weekday afternoon, so the place was very vacant. It looked even more so as they have a lot of seating options available. They give you a sheet with pencil to mark your order. And you can place orders as many times as you want. We ordered a few rolls, even a hand roll. And they all tasted great. But the thing that stood out the most for us was the appetizer of Aged Tofu. It was soooo soft and tasty. Really good. Their hibachi was pretty good too. It's a great deal for the price. Definitely recommend.

Mr Tokyo is a great addition to Greensboro! It's must try for anyone who loves sushi. Be sure to wear your stretchy pants at this place because you will leave stuffed. This was my second time visiting and each time was fantastic! I loved all the options on the all you can eat menu. The restaurant is really nice inside and is decorated well. I love the large mural upon entry. The waiters are always very nice and attentive. Always asking if you would like to order more. One hundred percent recommend! Bonus tip is to go for lunch. It's only $15!

We went here on a Monday afternoon. They were super empty but also we could tell they were super happy to serve us, it didn't feel like a drag. We got the buffet, and they had plenty of options to choose from. There were 2 of us so we decided to pace ourselves (skip water and fried rice to eat more) We got the soft tofu (my absolute favorite) appetizer, the edamame and the chicken katsu. We also got the fish eggs and ton of different sushi. They had a great selection of specials and normal sushi. They come out in sizes of 8 pieces so its not too bad. In the end we got the chicken fried rice as well to round out the meal. The ambience needs som picking up, but I expect them to find it as they establish themselves.
